In case you didn't know, Clickteam is a company that makes various game creation programs, applications, and utilities that are very helpful. Not only do they have the best beginner programming tools available, but many of them have limitless possibilities. Some of these possibilities including being able to make 3D, 2D, turn-by-turn, RPGs, image editing software, or just about whatever fits your needs. Clickteam has made seperate programs to fit your needs and each of them serve a purpose. The following game making programs created by Clickteam are:

• Jamagic - A 3D game creation program
• Multimedia Fusion - One of the most advanced program creation tools out there
• Click & Create - An intermediate game creation program that makes excellent 2D scrollers
• The Games Factory - Less options, but it's similar to C&C
• Klik & Play - One of their first and most basic products that came out in 1994

Jamagic
This is one of the most recent products created by Clickteam. It's one of the revolutionary 3D game creation tools that uses its own 3D engine and a plethora of options. Perfect if you want to make your own first-person shooter or platforming adventure. Some of the scripts do require some programming knowledge.

Multimedia Fusion
This has to be the best program out of all their products. MMF is a program creator that expands the boundaries by allowing you to make Windows Programs, games, and even add plug-ins for online play. Many advanced programmers who don't have the time to continually type out code use this program. It's also great if you don't know a lot about C/C++. It combines all the options possible and makes excellent 2D and/or 3D games if you have the skills.

Click & Create
C&C is similar to MMF, however, it tends to act more like a stripped down version. To start off, it doesn't have all the options that MMF has and its main use is for making 2D games. Its interface is much easier to understand, but you won't be able to make games as powerful as MMF can. If you looked over the Game Maker section, both tend to have similarities.

The Games Factory
This is the simplest version of the game creating products that Clickteam offers. It doesn't have all the options that MMF or C&C has and it tends to act like a shareware product. Although it may be best for the first-time programmer, it doesn't accomplish much in the eyes of a programmer.

Klik & Play
This is the first program of their game creating series that was released to the public in '94. If you really want to see something old school, check this out. K&P hardly has any options that TGF has, and some of its animations are so basic. Although it's extremely easy to make a bouncing ball if you're bored.

So what's the catch?
Money my friend. Yes, just like most companies, Clickteam only allows their programs to be sold for a profit. I'm not exactly sure on the prices, but I'm sure they're in a reasonable $50 range.
