Here you will
find some of the most interesting, intriguing, amazing, and goofy auctions
on EBAY. I'll be updating this section quite frequently with a little
opinion of each auction. Just click the link of each auction to go and
see it yourself. Some of these are so stupid that you'll want to get a
roll of toilet paper and throw it at the seller. Anyhow, read away!
- MASSIVE
GAME LOT NES Atari 2600 XBOX MORE -
Not Finished
This is
a very neat auction. There are tons and tons of video game systems and
thousands of games. I've never seen anything like this before. The guy
is still updating the auction with more items because he keeps finding
them in packages. This auction may go well over $8,000 - plus, I think
the shipping weight is around a ton. Check it out.
- Nintendo
Headquarters & Game Play Center Tour
- $1,110.38
Who would've ever thought that a small certificate/piece
of paper would go well over $1000. Apparently, that's the case. This
person was selling a supposed gift pack tour of Nintendo headquarters
in Redmont, Washington. I was reading around and some people said you
could get these tours for free if you sent a letter to Nintendo. Man,
do I feel sorry for the person who's getting this cheap trip.
- NES
Nintendo Control Deck Test Cartridge - Not Finished
This is pretty sad. No offense, but I doubt this cartridge
even works. You see, a NES test cartridge is sort of like a game you
put in the nes to make sure everything works. They were used by technicians
for testing things, and they're very hard to find. However, most of
them still retain their labels. This is funny because somebody took
a piece of computer paper, printed out a fake label, and pasted it onto
this cart. Who in their righteous mind would even bid on this?
- Back To The Future
2015 Newspaper Prop! -
$18.50
You've all seen the exciting movie. And yes, there are
probably hardcore fanatics out there who enjoy collecting Back to the
Future stuff. But what I can't understand is why would anyone buy a
piece of computer paper? You see, supposedly this is a replica of the
newspaper article that was in the movie. That's very believeable. But
why would the seller reprint it on to computer paper to give it an older
newspaper look? Isn't that basically saying that the buyers are bidding
on a sheet of computer paper? Please, spare the torture.
- 1990
Nintendo World Championships WITH patch -
No Sale - NEW!
I can't stop laughing. This is the second time this guy
has been trying to sell his Nintendo World Championship cart & the
patch. You see, in case you didn't know, the NWC is a super-uber-rare
cart that very few people have. It's in my Rare games section from what
I believe, but anyhow, this guy has constantly been relisting the item
at a constant $1,990. I can understand if the seller would want a lot
of money for a NWC cart. However, his cart happens to be damaged around
the label, and it's not even a gold version. I doubt anyone is going
to pay as much as he expects it to go for.
- Diablo
Nintendo Gameboy unreleased Prototype -
No Sale - NEW!
Eh, there's not much to say about prototypes. You
see, prototypes are extremely rare and hard to find. But often, you
can easily confuse a prototype with a homebrewn cart. I believe that's
what happened in this auction. This guy probably programmed a short
demo or clip from the Diablo PC version, and then made it on the gameboy
cart. This was a brilliant idea, but the price wasn't high enough to
meet the reserve. Either way, funny protos like these come along all
the time on ebay.
