Huge Update - 07/31/02 |
Let me start off by saying that it's a huge update. First, due to popular demand, there is a new clone vs. clone match between two rivals. Their bonds have finally broken and it's an all out war. The new matchup is FlowingMindspin Vs. Nintendoh and can be found in the Clone Vs. Clone section under the NES category. I urge you to go there, listen to both songs, and then vote on which one you think is better. Secondly, there's a new site that has officially linked to us. Not only is this site great for covering the 8-bit genre in general, but it has an awesome layout with cool flash effects. Check out EightBit Online. Next, since I had a lot of spare time today, I created an entire section dedicated to my video game collection. I actually sat down, took pictures of my entire collection, and posted info on them. It would please me a lot if you'd check them out just to see what games I own and the fact that I put a lot of work into it. Oh, in case you noticed, I replaced the Progress section with My Collections since there was no need for it. By the way, you can vote in the new weekly poll. Unfortunately, I'm going to hold off the forums until Saturday. I haven't decided on which free forums I'm going to side with. Plus, there will most likely be no update tomorrow since I'm going to a huge flea market in the morning and then over a friend's house in the afternoon. I probably won't be able to update (unless some miracle happens). Until then, enjoy the site. |

3D Gamestudio and Resources - 07/30/02 |
Well, today I managed to create the 3D Gamestudio section. It's very similar to the RPG Maker 2000 page except it's not a free program. The section does contain a link though to download a trial version. I also managed to add a Resources page under the Game Makers category. Also, a friend of mind, FlowingMindSpin, managed to make a short song about a guy named Nintendoh who lives in Ohio. You should check it out in the downloads. I'm still in dire need of some affliates, so if you're interested in joining up, then please check out the affliation page. All the information is there. Oh, and I found some more sites which I added in the links section. I'm planning on doing my first game shrine on Rescue: The Embassy Mission. Then, I'll see what I can do from there. You can expect to see the forums up on the July 31st update. |
| Memorabilia is up - 07/29/02 | |
Today, I decided to get rid of the manual spoofs since they weren't that funny (at least not yet), and I replaced it with the Memorabilia section. In case you didn't know, it's similar to various souvenirs of Nintendo stuff I found quite recently. So far I only have one item there, but it's something none of you have probably have ever seen. Just check it out. Due to various requests, I added more sites to the links section. Remember, just ask me if you want your site to be placed in the links section. I'll be happy to do so. I also added the RPG Maker 2000 section to the site. It's located under the Game Makers category. That's about all for today, so expect more updates as usual tomorrow. |

New section plus article - 07/28/02 |
Today's update includes a new section, Rare Games, and my first article for the site. I'd like to thank Weird-Edsel for telling me about the NES Rarity Guide since I didn't know about it beforehand. Also, my first article is based on a not-so-good experience with MCM Electronics. No, I'm sorry, I don't have any Funcolands nearby so I can't go around making fun of them. Oh yeah, and I picked a game of the month which is located on the right navbar. For now, I'm going to skip the game shrines section and move on. The shrines will be put up later once I have most of the content up. I have some pretty good manual spoofs I came up with in my spare time which will be posted tomorrow. Check here for more updates tomorrow. |

More NES Additions- 07/27/02 |
Let me clear some things up. This site will host other video game systems. But as I said before, I want the site to appear done so I can give you content on every subject. Once most (or at least half) the sections are done, I'll start adding sections for the Sega Master System, SNES, N64, etc... Now that you understand that, a few updates are coming today. My 72-pin connector for my NES should be arriving in the mail today, which means I'll most likely be anxious to try it out. I'm going to attempt to finish up the entire NES navbar so you can get a view of what the site will be like. Then, I'll move onto the game makers. By the way, you can't hotlink to my button on this site since twitch told me that sphosting doesn't hotlink (forgot about that). So if you plan on linking to me, just save the button image and place it on your own server. It'd really save me a lot of time. Don't forget to contact me, if you want to be in the affliates section. I've finished the Clone Vs. Clone section under the NES. It only has one matchup for now. The great thing is that I got my NES to work again with a new 72-pin connector. Sorry about no update yesterday, I was too busy playing my NES. |

Site Updates - 07/25/02 |
I've been doing some updates regarding the site sections. As you can see, the links should work. Some of the sections aren't done yet due to their proper reasons, while others are fully open and ready to work. I'd also recommend you sign my guestbook. You can check out the progress page to see what exactly I'm working on. I found a flaw in my design and I decided I'm only going to cover the NES for now. This means my site is only based on the NES rather than the other systems. I'll try to finish them at a brisk pace when I have time. In case you're wondering, there will be a quote and midi of the day for each update. Just to keep you interested in the site... I have yet another update for everyone out there. I just watched the movie, Hart's War, and I placed a review of it in the movie reviews section. I'm planning on finishing the NES sections, then moving on to the game makers. |

The Unofficial Beginning - 07/24/02 |
Welcome to my website. This is antseezee's Domain, which in a basic sense, is one of the most helpful pages you'll find on the web. To start off, my name is Chris Zawada, and I've been experienced in web design for four years. My dream for webpages came a few years back when I was young and bold. At the time, I knew nothing of websites and decided to learn. So after many fateful evenings in my red shed, I managed to learn HTML and ended up making my first website ever. Now you probably thought it was some big fancy gaming page, but in fact, it was a crappy pokemon page. Yes, pokemon, the worst kiddy anime show ever. But as I said before, I was young and bold. Then after five months or so, I decided to test my skills. With my new and trusty Frontpage 98', I managed to make a website based on the Playstation game, Saga Frontier. It was probably my site with the most hits ever. I was really into it early on, and it was probably the first project I actually completed. You can view it here: Anyway, it was a great site. It's design was basic, simple, and it had a good site address. Eventually though, my computer had formatting problems and I lost the site completely off my harddrive. Thus, my life moved on and I never updated that site again. It did manage to topple 10,000 hits though with many guestbook signings. My next project was more of a brainstorming idea. It was called Final Fantasy Experts which was suppose to be one of those interactive Final Fantasy communities. Unfortunately, I didn't know jack about CGI or PHP and I was unable to make a working network with rankings and such. I never did unveil the site to the public so it barely banked 100 hits. My most recent project was the one that could've been the best. About two years ago, I was into RPG making. A program called RPG Maker 2000 was released and many new programmers were flocking to this program. Seeing as many other RPGMaker sites were springing, I decided to make my own. At first, it started out as the RPG Maker's Definitive Resource which was in a sense, a huge archive of downloads. The design wasn't too great, and I wanted to make it better. So after a few days in my hefty little shack, I managed to make it into an awesome site with one of my best designs ever. RPG Makers Network was my most successful project ever and my most recent. I had a free professional host, a staff of five members, and even a UBB forum to go with it. Everything was right until I realized my grades were dropping in school. I had received a C+ in Algebra and I decided it was time to shut the site down. So my most successful project became my most regretful action. Now, two years later, I have opened my most concise and direct webpage ever. I plan on putting everything on this webpage regardless of it being a personal site. I hope you can get some enjoyability out of my tasteless humor, and possible some assistance in the meanwhile. Welcome to, antseezee's Domain! |
