Believe it or not, there are still tons and tons of people out there who enjoy experimenting with their NESs. In case you didn't know, this section of the website has all the nifty gadgets, hardware, and things you never had or heard about. For example, did you know that there was suppose to be a modem for the NES, or a disk system? Either way, you can find all the tidbits of information on this page.

Nintendo Computer
Thanks to a few people on some NES sites, they were talking about this supposed NES computer. Apparently, a person in his spare time managed to get rid of the guts of the NES, and entirely replace it, thus turning it into a fully functional computer. The great thing about this computer is that the nes bay opens up and a dvd drive pops out. The actual controller ports have been modded to the mouse, and there's even cooling fans. This thing is just like a fully functional computer. Rather than having a big bulky desktop computer, the entire thing was shrunk down into the size of a frontloading NES. This thing has great specifications too, and it only cost around $400 to build from scratch.
Specs:
800mhz Processor
128 MB Ram
20 gig Harddrive
90 Watt PSU
8X DVD Drive
S-Video Out
Ethernet

Please note that this was built by scratch by someone skilled in electronics. If you ever plan on making one, do some research and make sure you know what you're doing. If he ever releases the schematics or main idea behind it, I'll post it here. If you want the official link to the discovery, CLICK HERE.
