NES is a classic...

Welcome to my Top 20 NES games. Listed below is a list I compiled in my spare time of some of my favorite and decent games on the NES. I may also update this list based on any new games I try or if I just decide to change my mind. While your opinion may differ, this is what I chose:

#20
Bubble Bobble

Bubble Bobble is by far my favorite puzzle game of all time. The game combined a great idea, with great levels, and plenty of fruit to eat. While I may not play it as much as I use to, this game is still a classic in my mind.

#19
Final Fantasy III

Even though this game was never released in the US, I still think it should be. Final Fantasy III had the best battle system and job system that many current RPGs now have. You could change classes and earn skill points towards upgrades. Best of all, it had great graphics. I can play this game anytime, but it's unfortunate that it was never released in America.

#18
Mega Man II

Arguably one of the best shooter platforming games of all time, Mega Man is a great game nonetheless. It featured a unique system of bosses whose levels were themed after themselves. Plus, it contained a feature where you could use that boss's power once you defeated him. Mega Man II really kicked the Mega Man series up a notch (before the other four were published).

#17
Castlevania

This was one of the best series starts for Konami if you'd ask me. Castlevania puts you in the place of Simon Belmont, a vampire slayer who seeks out Dracula, the king of the vampires. This game was just purely fun, with powerup items, and a whip, you can't go wrong.

#16
Double Dribble

While I'm not a big basketball fan, Double Dribble was a very addictive game. With gameplay similar to that of NBA Jam, games can go high into the hundreds. You could steal the ball, make a swish, and then go for the layup off the pass. This game still has some of the best replay value out of many NES games.
